On Thursday 23 March 2023, PhD researchers from Trinity College Dublin held a protest in front of Leinster House. They demand to be paid a living wage. Senator Tom Clonan, a former PhD researcher himself, joined the protest and voiced his support for the Postgraduate Workers Organisation Trinity’s demands.
